Incident

On June 25, 2025, Ian Muhindi was watching the Gen Z memorial protests from his home rooftop in Juja. Despite not participating in the demonstrations, he was struck in the head by a stray bullet, causing him to fall from the rooftop. Human rights organizations emphasized the need for stringent measures to prevent the loss of innocent lives during protests and urged the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
