5. UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) Kenya ratified the CRC in 1990. If minors are among those shot, arrested, or abused:

  • Article 6 – Every child has the inherent right to life.
  • Article 37 – No child shall be subjected to torture or unlawful deprivation of liberty.
